MISSION
Students Demand Representation is a tri-campus nonpartisan group of students from various organizations at the University of Michigan. It seeks to reposition students as an imperative part of decision-making processes. Making these systemic changes requires inclusivity and representation of students from different backgrounds, especially students disproportionately affected by University policies, and requires that students do not face discrimination and discreditation.
VISION
SDR seeks student access to the Board of Regents and increased power in higher education decision-making through various means, such as taking visible action, making legislative changes at the state level, conducting research, and actively holding the administration accountable by amplifying student voices.
